Bio

2024 (Junior): Played three sets across two matches. Matched a career high two kills on Oct. 1 against Catawba... Also appeared in two sets against Virginia Wise on Oct. 29.

2023 (Sophomore): Played in four sets across three matches... Tallied lone two kills of the season in the match against Bemidji State on Sept. 2... Also appeared in matches against Augusta on Sept. 8, and Belmont Abbey on Sept. 9.

2022 (Freshman): Played in seven matches tallying a pair of kills... Made collegiate debut in the 2022 opener against Alabama Huntsville taking two swings... Recorded first career kill on lone swing against Francis Marion on Sept. 3.

HIGH SCHOOL: Moving to the right side as a senior, Bussom hit .312 while leading the Mavericks in blocks. The Palmetto State native helped guide Mauldin to an undefeated run in the region in 2021 before finishing fourth in the 5A state tournament.
