2025: The junior continued to be a steady piece in the lineup, starting all 48 games for the Eagles. Martin produced a pair of career-highs with a .332 average and 47 hits, with eight doubles and one triple, while driving in 19 runs. Additionally, she had a new career-best .442 OBP, drawing 17 walks and striking out just five times. She continued her success on the base paths, scoring 32 times with a team-high 12 stolen bases. She ended the year tied for ninth in program history in career steals with 39. She produced 13 multi-hit games, including her first career game with two doubles at Lenoir-Rhyne (Apr. 18). Additionally, she had a career-best three RBIs against North Greenville (Feb. 18) to go along with her five multi-RBI games.

2024: Martin started 49 out of 50 games in he second season on the banks of Mossy Creek. Carson-Newman's starting centerfielder for all 49 of her starts, Martin hit .303 with 40 knocks in 132 trips to the plate.  She tallied nine doubles, a team-best three triples and two home runs.  Both of her home runs were inside-the-parkers against Converse (Apr. 8) and at Anderson (Apr. 27).  Martin led the team in stolen bases with 17 swipes in 18 attempts.  A prolific defensive outfielder, a Sportscenter top 10-worthy diving grab on senior day against Lenoir-Rhyne secured Carson-Newman's first sweep of the Bears in Jefferson City since 2000. She had 10 multi-hit efforts, including a career-high matching three-hit day against UNC Pembroke (Mar. 2).  Martin drove in 24 runs on the year with eight multi-RBI efforts.  

2023: Martin turned in a stellar freshman campaign in the outfield. She cemented herself in the starting lineup midway through February, making 40 starts and 47 appearances en route to hitting .330. She collected eight multi-hit efforts, including a three-hit day against Catawba (March 11).  She had her lone multi-RBI contest against Northern State (Feb. 24).  Martin roped five doubles on the year and hit an inside-the-park home run against Emory & Henry (April 15).  She produced a career-long six-game hitting and reached-base streak from March 11-18.  From March 11-16 against Catawba and UVA Wise she tallied four consecutive multi-hit efforts.  With a dangerous arm, Martin threw out six runners at he plate, tied with teammate SieAnna Cameron for the highest total in the South Atlantic Conference. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A career .414 batter in her high school career, Martin is Etowah's all-time leader in hits and at-bats.  She earned first team all-state honors in her junior year and was a three-time sportswriters first team selection for Etowah County. She made the Gadsden Messenger's first team three times.  In her CoVID-shortened sophomore season, she led her team in hits, batting average, on-base percentage, triples and fielding percentage.  In 2018, she reset Etowah's single-season record for stolen bases.  She was a High School Heisman award winner in 2021.  A basketball player and volleyball player, Martin earned all-area honors for both those sports in 2021, 2020 and 2019.  She helped Etowah to a third place finish at the state tournament in 2021 as well as a 4A area championship that year. 

PERSONAL: The daughter of Mark and Shannon Martin, she plans to study nursing at Carson-Newman.  She carries a 4.0 GPA and is a member of the Student Government Association, Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta.
