Bio

2017: One of the biggest bats in the order for Carson-Newman, as a junior, Pritchett clobbered six home runs, the second most on the team.  She hit .242 for the season with six doubles as well. The third baseman only made six errors at the hot corner after making the move from catcher to the infield.  Pritchett walked a team-high 25 times.  Her best outing came against Queens en route to SAC Player of the Week honors for the first time in her career. She went 4-for-4 at the plate with a double and two dingers.  The home runs were her first of the season.  The junior had gone more than 40 at-bats since her last bomb. She totaled three runs, five hits, two home runs, five RBI, and finished with a slugging percentage of 1.500 percent for the week.

HONORS:

  • SAC Player of the Week (3/21)

2016: A Tennessee Sportswriters' Association Pitcher of the Week, Pritchett was prodigious in early March when the sophomore pounded out 11 hits in 13 at bats for an .846 average with a trio of doubles, pair of home runs, septet of runs batted in and a triumvirate of runs scored.  The Ringgold, Ga., native went 2-for-3 with a walk in the opener of a doubleheader against UVA-Wise and collected three hits with a solo homer in the second game versus the Cavaliers.  The first baseman then pounded out a school-record matching three doubles in game two versus concord while going 4-for-4 at the plate in the series finale versus the Mountain Lions.  Pritchett hit .263 for the year with 33 runs batted in, nine doubles, a triple and seven home runs.  She walked 25 times.  Pritchett had nine multi-hit games, topping out with the four-hit performance against Concord.  She had eight multi-RBI performances on the season, including a pair of four-RBI games against King and Concord.

2015: Pritchett appeared in 28 games for the Eagles, starting 11 at first in her freshman season. She hit .216 while playing error-free ball at first. Pritchett hit two home runs, against Fort Valley State (2/16) and Queens (4/18).  She also set her career high for RBI with three batted in against the Royals.

High School: An All-region selection and four-year varsity letter winner for Steve Chattin at Heritage High School, Pritchett batted .331 with 19 RBI, eight doubles and three homers with 46 hits in her senior season.  Pritchett helped the Generals to a region championship and a AAAA state runner up.
