KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Soccer Coaches Association of American has released its 2016 All-Southeast Region teams and four Eagles have earned recognition. Lauren Wade (Coleraine, Northern Ireland) and Julianne Herrity (Donegal, Ireland) were selected to the first-team, Heida Ragney (Akureyri, Iceland) was chosen for a spot on the second-team and Varin Ness (Sogndal, Norway) made the third-team.
DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Three goals in the last 15:03 spurred a stunning comeback for the North Georgia Nighthawks, who shocked the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team 4-3 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday at North Georgia Soccer Complex in Dahlonega, Ga.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn – After picking up their second NCAA Tournament win in two years on Friday, the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team moves into the second round, where they will face one of the host schools in the Southeast Region, the second-seeded and 20th ranked North Georgia Nighthawks, on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the University of North Georgia Soccer Complex in Dahlonega, Ga.
