JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn – After picking up their second NCAA Tournament win in two years on Friday, the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team moves into the second round, where they will face one of the host schools in the Southeast Region, the second-seeded and 20th ranked North Georgia Nighthawks, on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the University of North Georgia Soccer Complex in Dahlonega, Ga.
DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Carson-Newman Eagles scored two goals in less than two minutes as the sixth seeded C-N women’s soccer team upset the third-seeded Limestone Saints, 2-0, in their first round match in the NCAA Tournament’s Southeast region on Friday in Dahlonega, Ga.
ROCK HILL, S.C. – For the second consecutive season, the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team (16-3-1) has brought home the hardware, as they knocked off the Wingate Bulldogs (12-6-1), 2-1, in Sunday’s South Atlantic Conference Tournament final to claim their second straight SAC title and the sixth in the program’s history.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Following a win over Anderson (S.C.) in the South Altantic Conference semifinals, the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team is one win away from their second consecutive SAC title. The final obstacle remaining in the Eagles quest to repeat is the Wingate Bulldogs and these teams will collide in the SAC Tournament final on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill, S.C.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn – On senior day at McCown Field, the Carson-Newman women’s soccer team got three goals from Lauren Wade (Coleraine, Northern Ireland) and two from Julianne Herrity (Donegal, Ireland) on their way to an 8-0 victory over the Coker Cobras on Saturday afternoon that allowed the Eagles to clinch a share of the South Atlantic Conference title.
