2013 (Sophomore): Saw action in 17 matches and 34 overall sets... Finished second on the team in assists (64) and assists per set (1.88)... Tallied double-digit assists on two occasions (15 v. North Greenville on September 14 and 13 v. Coker on November 2)... Notched a season-high nine digs at King (Tenn.) on September 13
2012 (Freshman): Saw action in 20 matches while helping the Eagles run a 6-2 for much of the year. Handed out 138 assists (2.65 a/s) and was second on the team with 35 percent of her passes leading to kills. Had seven matches with more than 10 kills as the Eagles' secondary setter. That included a pair of career high 14 assist matches against Montevallo (9/15) and the Eagles' 3-2 upset win over LMU (11/6).
High School: While at Morristown East, Wells was tabbed as 2010 & 2011 IMAC District Setter of the year and was an All-Conference selection all four years. Wells led her team to an undefeated senior season and claimed IMAC Conference and District titles as well as a regional appearance. Wells played for the Phoenix Rising Volleyball Club under Tusculum head coach Michael Robinson. Her athletic efforts did not end with volleyball while at Morristown East; Wells was also a 4-year letter winner in basketball. She was an integral part of a conference, district, regional and sub-state championship team that made an appearance at the state tournament.
Personal: Daughter of Tom and Tammy Wells... nursing major... named the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Heart of a Champion.
