2023-24 (Junior): After the start of the new calendar year, Alvey would go on to start 22 of the final 23 games of the season averaging a career-high 25 minutes per game in 34 appearances... She upped her scoring average by three points to 8.4 and shot 27% from three-point range...grabbed the second-most rebounds on the team with 6.3 per contest, second on the team in assists with 94 and second in steals with 58....Made five consecutive three-pointers between a pair of wins in November over Columbus State and Wingate... Came up one assist short of a triple double versus Lenoir-Rhyne on Feb. 10, scoring 10 points, grabbing a career-high 16 rebounds and dishing out nine assists...Scored a career-high, at the time, 17 points in 38 minutes against Anderson on Feb 17...Reset her career-high in the opening round of the SAC Tournament scoring 22 points on nine made baskets...Scored in double-figures 12 times....and six games with multiple three-pointers made....15 games with multiple steals
2022-23 (Sophomore): Played in 13 games before missing the final 16 contests of the season with a knee injury... Averaged 5.2 points per game and 3.1 boards chipping in 20 steals and eight blocks... Led the team in rebounds filling up the stat sheet with six points, eight rebounds, four steals and three assists in a win over No. 10 Lander in the season opener... Doubled her prior career high with a team-best 18 points on seven of 12 shooting with eight rebounds, five steals and three assists in a blow out win against No. 8 North Georgia on Dec. 3... Paced the club in a victory over King on Dec. 19 with 16 points making seven of nine shot attempts adding a pair of blocks.
2021-22 (Freshman): Played in all 33 games with seven starts in her first year on the floor averaging three points, 3.5 rebounds with 35 steals... Filled the stat sheet with five points, six rebounds and two steals in a win over USC Aiken on Nov. 14... Posted six steals and six assists in a 105-70 win against Queens on Nov. 20... Ripped down a season-high seven rebounds in a 101-62 win over Mars Hill on Dec. 15... Logged a season-high nine points adding five steals in a victory over Emory & Henry on Jan. 19... Yanked down a nine boards at No. 19 Wingate on Jan. 22... Snared a career-high 10 rebounds in a road win over Mars Hill on Feb. 16.
2020-21 (Softball at Lipscomb): Alvey pursued softball out of high school playing in 15 games for Lipscomb in 2021 tallying a pair of hits and a pair of walks while scoring three runs. Offered by Mincey out of high school, she returns to the hardwood after being a decorated prep star. She will have at least three years of eligibility.
HIGH SCHOOL: The District 2 AAA Player of the Year was also named to the all-state roster producing over 1,000 points guiding the Patriots to a regular-season title and district tournament championship earning the MVP laurel. She was the Andrew Johnson Bank Ladies Classic Tournament MVP leading the team to the hardware. The guard capped her season with a spot on the BCAT All-Star team. The two-time team captain was a four-time all-conference pick. Between softball, basketball and volleyball, she was selected to eight all-district teams including twice being an all-region pick in hoops. In 2019, she helped Jefferson County win the Softball Class AAA State Championship as an all-state selection. Overall she was a part of 10 championships across the three sports collecting 24 individual awards.
