2015-16 (Senior): Preseason first-team All-SAC pick…Second-team All-SAC honoree…Picked up a postseason honor for the third time in her career becoming just the fifth player in program history to earn at least three nods by the SAC since 1989-90...Most recently Zoriah Williams picked up the honor three times in her career capped in 2011-12…Concluded the season 9th in the league in scoring average with 13.8 points per game…Her 63 three-pointers ranked 5th in the league while shooting 34.4 percent from deep, 6th in the SAC... Burstrom became the 17th Lady Eagle to score at least 1,000 points in her career doing so against North Georgia on Dec. 3…She also became the all-time leader in made three-pointers at Queens (N.C.) on Dec. 12…Completed her career fourth in SAC history with 254 made three-pointers. The program's leader in made triples concludes her four years with 1,234 points, good for ninth in C-N history. The senior scored in double figures 64 times in her four seasons while leading the team in scoring in 30 games. She made at least three three-pointers on 43 occasions

2014-15 (Junior): Named honorable mention All-SAC after being a preseason second team selection…Ranked sixth in the league assist-to-turnover ratio (1.3) and three-pointers per game (2.0)…Started 29 of the 30 games she played in while leading the team in minutes per game (28.3)…Led the team by averaging 10.1 points per night and finished second with 72 assists…Led the team in scoring six times and assists on nine occasions…Burstrom buried 59 three-pointers bringing her career total to 190, second on the school’s all-time list…Tallied 15 double-figure scoring nights including a season-high 17 points at Coker on January 17…Had three or more assists 12 times including a pair of career-high six-assist nights, January 10 versus Queens and January 31 versus Catawba…Played a career-high 36 minutes against Brevard on Feburary 11…Buried six three-pointers in a game two times, November 25 versus Mars Hill and February 11 against Brevard

2013-14 (Sophomore): Started 27 of the 30 games she participated in averaging 25.4 minutes per game, second most on the team…Was the only C-N player to average double figures in points and finished 19th in the SAC with 10.7 points per game…Led the Eagles in field goals made (112), field goal attempts (342), 3-point field goals made (70) and 3-point field goal attempts (212)…Her 33 percent 3-point field goal percentage was 11th best in the SAC…Was third on the team with 50 assists and fourth in steals with 28…Tallied 16 double digit scoring efforts including four 20+ point outings…Scored a career high 27 points at Lenoir-Rhyne on December 14 after going 9-for-16 from the floor and 5-for-10 from long distance…Buried seven 3-pointers in two games, 7-for-10 v. Lees-McRae on November 8 and 7-for-15 v. Kentucky Wesleyan on December 18…Notched a steal in 16 games with a career high setting five pilfers at Newberry on March 1 

2012-13 (Freshman): Burstrom was the only Lady Eagle named to earn postseason All-SAC honors.  The recognition came on the heels of Burstrom being named the SAC Player of the Week for her play during the last week of the regular season.  In only her freshman season, Burstrom led the Lady Eagles in scoring by averaging 11.2 points per game. She also led the team and was second in the league by hitting 37.7 percent of her three-point shots. She scored in double-figures in 14 of Carson-Newman's 25 games, and was the leading scorer in four of the Lady Eagles last six games.  Burstrom started her award-winning week with a career-high 24-point performance at Catawba (2/27). She knocked down a season-best six three-pointers in the victory as the Lady Eagles earned their first win inside Goodman Gymnasium since Jan. 21, 2006 as Carson-Newman won 60-59.  Burstrom was 7-for-13 shooting from the field and 6-for-10 from three-point land, in addition to going 4-for-5 at the free throw line in the narrow victory for the Lady Eagles.  She was second on the team with 46 assists and third on the team in steals with 43.  Had three games with more than 20 points, aside from the career high against Catawba, had back-to-back 20-point efforst against North Georgia (11/16) and Georgia College (11/17) with 23 and 21 respectively. Her 24-point and 23-point outings were the most points scored by a Lady Eagle in contest in the 2012-13 season. Handed out a career high six assists on a couple of occasions against Columbus State (11/20) and Virginia Intermont (12/30).  

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-sport standout at William Blount High School…Has already surpassed 1,000 points for her career…Honor roll student throughout high school…A three-time All-District and All-District Tournament Team selection at shooting guard…Earned All-Region and All-Region Tournament Team honors during her junior season…Twice been named Knoxville News-Sentinel All-Prep Extra…Four-time Blount County Player of the Week…Led her team to district runner-up as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Comes from an athletic family, father David played football at West Alabama, mother Stephanie also played college volleyball…Both brothers played college baseball.
