2019-2020: Ungur made his season debut against Wingate in a dual-meet and was victorious in the 100-yard backstroke. The sophomore took home first place in the 200-yard backstroke in 1:51.96, good enough for 13th in the country. Ungur won his first Bluegrass Mountain Conference Male Swimmer of the Week award after his performance in C-N's home dual-meet against Lees-McRae College on Nov.16. Ungur swam the 50-yard butterfly section of the team's 200-yard medley relay and secured a season-best time. The underclassman also secured the fourth-fastest time in the nation in the 200-yard backstroke at the same event. On the first day of the UT Invitational, Ungur set a personal best with a 20.28. In C-N's regular season finale, Ungur placed first in the 100-yard backstroke in 48.77 and was second in the 200-yard backstroke. Ungur won the 100-yard backstroke 'A' final in 46.7, winning gold and All-Conference honors on the third day of the Bluegrass Mountain Conference Championships. 

2018-2019: The foursome of Andrei Ungur, Howell, Matthew George, and Nikola Tadic narrowly missed a first-place time in the event as the Wingate 'A' side held the advantage by .20 seconds in dual meet vs. Wingate... won the 100-yard backstroke at a time of 50.77 vs. Wingate... finished third in the 200-yard backstroke at the Emory Invitational... also finished third in 400-yard medley relat with Howell, George and Tadic at Emory... placed ninth in the 200 freestyle relay with Jonny Goss, Seth Hughes and Chad Andoljsek and broke a program record in 400 medley relay in a time of 3:18:60 at UT Invitational... won twice vs. Emmanuel Lions, once in 100-yard backstroke and again with 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:58.61, breaking a school record... securd BMC Conference Champion honors in the 100-yard backstroke, becoming the first freshman in school history to accomplish the feat, he owns the second-best time in school history in the event... finished with the second-fastest time in program history in the 100-yard butterfly at 48.57 and set a season-best time in the 50 freestyle at 20.85 at the Last Chance Meet...
