2016-17: Honorable Mention All-American in the 50 free, 200 medley relay and 200 free relay...Won the 50 free five times during the season, including at the BMC Championships...Was also all-conference in the 200 medley relay, the 400 medley relay and the 200 free relay...Helped the Eagles win seven relay races during the season, swimming in the 200 medley relay against Limestone and Emmanuel, the 400 free relay against Limestone, the 400 medley relay against Cumberlands and the 200 free relay against Cumberlands, Emmanuel and in Cincinnati.
2015-16: Two-time All-BMC honoree in the 200 Free Relay and 50 Free... Won a team-high 10 races during the season with four wins coming against Bellarmine (50 and 100 Free, 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay), four against the University of the Cumberlands (50 and 100 Free, 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay) and one win each against King (400 Medley Relay) and and Limestone (50 Free)... Placed 14th in the 50 Free at the Georgia Tech Fall Invitational against a multitude of Division I athletes.
2014-15: 2015 All-American... School record holder in the: 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Medley Relay... Member of the 200 Free Relay team that finished eighth at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships... Finished 32nd in the 50 Free at the NCAA Championships... Totaled seven wins during his sophomore season.
2013-2014: Winning member of the 400 free relay at the Lenior-Rhyne/Catawba tri-meet.
High School: Schecter has swum year round with Atomic City Atomic Club since 2006 under the tutelage of coaches Mike Bowman and Betsey Hondorf. In the summer, he races for GKAISA. Schecter's top finishes include 22.59 in the 50 free, 49.53 in the 100 free and a 53.88 in the 100 back at the 2012 Southeastern Short Course Championships.
