2024: Ward tallied 37 tackles in his 12 games and six starts to rank third in stops among members of C-N's secondary.  He also broke up five passes.  Ward had a season-best for stop came against UVA Wise (Oct. 16).  He made seven tackles, four solo in a win over the Cavs and also broke up two passes.  He registered 121 tackles for his college football career. 

2023: Ward started four games and appeared in 10 contests in his red-shirt junior season.  Warder turned in 26 tackles, 22 of which were solo stops.  He had 1.5 tackles for loss and a pass break up.  Ward's most productive game came against Tusculum (Oct. 7) when he registered a career-best eight tackles.  He also forced two fumbles against the Pioneers.  

2022: Ward made five starts and played in all 11 games in his red-shirt sophomore campaign.  He tallied 21 tackles with five break ups and a fumble recovery.  His high watermark for tackles came at Lenoir-Rhyne (Sept. 24) when he had five stops.  He produced multiple stops in seven games for C-N.  He recovered his fumble against Erskine (Oct. 15).  

2021: Ward appeared in all 10 games with seven starts as a member of Carson-Newman's secondary.  Ward was the Eagles' seventh-leading tackler with 37 tackles.  He also turned in a tackle for loss, broke up six passes and picked another.  Ward had his best days against the toughest competition, turning in seven-tackle performances against West Georgia (9/2) and Lenoir-Rhyne (10/16), two teams that would finish the year in the national rankings.  He also picked off a pass against the Bears.  Ward broke up three passes against the Wolves.  

2020: Registered one pass break up playing in the defensive backfield against UVA Wise. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Ward tallied 30 tackles during his career with a trio of interceptions and 10 pass break ups. He was recognized by his Trojan teammates with the Best Defensive Back award and Most Improved.

PERSONAL: The son of Raven and La’Mon Ward, he intends to study communications at Carson-Newman. He made A&B Honor Roll during his high school career.
