Bio

2024: Did not appear in any games after injuring his shoulder. While his football career was impacted by the injury, it did not hamper his dynamite efforts on the basketball court as the top floor mopper in the South Atlantic Conference and the Southeast Region.

2023: Appeared in two games on the offensive line for C-N. A Floor Mop All-American for the Carson-Newman men's and women's basketball teams according to The Voice of the Eagles Adam Cavalier.

2022: Did not appear in any games, redshirted. Spent part of his offseason as one of the mop guys for Carson-Newman men's and women's basketball. Dubbed the best "Mop Guy" in the SAC by head men's basketball coach Chuck Benson.

High School: First team All-Conference at Morristown West. Represented East Tennessee at the East Tennessee vs Knox County All-Star Game. Helped lead the Trojans to an appearance in the 2021 state playoffs.

Personal: Son of Melissa Needs and Carson-Newman Director of Track & Field and Cross-Country David Needs. Chose C-N over Gardner-Webb and West Georgia. Intends to major in physical education
