HIGH SCHOOL: Stinson was a three-sport athlete at Oak Grove High School, where he competed in basketball, football and track. In his senior year, he recorded 61 solo tackles, 19 assists, and broke up three passes on defense. He also made contributions on offense with 15 catches for 294 yards and two touchdowns. Stinson received multiple athletic honors, including All-Conference in basketball, football and track. His team won the Mid-Piedmont 3-A Conference, went 11-1 and reached the second round of the NCHSAA Class 3-A West playoffs.
PERSONAL: The son of Chris and Paula Stinson, he plans to major in Exercise Science at Carson-Newman. He finished his high school career with a high average in civics.
