2020: McCarthy carried the ball eight times for 24 yards with a long rush of 13 yards in the Eagles' spring game against UVA Wise. 

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: 

2018: Appeared in all 12 games, starting 10 as the primary back…Finished the season with a team-high 781 yards on 153 attempts while adding five touchdowns…Also picked up 96 receiving yards on 19 catches with a pair of touchdowns to finish the season fourth on the team in scoring with 42 points…His 877 total yards was also second on the team in all-purpose yards…Finished all 12 games with at least six rushing attempts, while registering at least one catch in nine of the 12 games…Opened up the season with his first touchdown coming against Bryant (Sep. 1) with that score coming on a three-yard catch while he also games seven yards on the ground…Registered back-to-back 90+ yard rushing games against Pace (Sep. 8) and Southern Connecticut (Sep. 15) with his first rushing touchdown coming in the latter of those game against the Owls…The touchdown against Southern Connecticut was the longest score of the season for any player as he ran 79 yards on the only play in the drive to score the Blue and Gold’s first TD of the day against the Owls…That TD against SCSU was the first of three straight games with at least one score, setting a season-high with two touchdowns as part of his first 100+ game against Bentley (Sep. 29)…Set a career-high with 130 rushing yards while adding one catch for 16 yards against Assumption (Oct. 20)…Picked up his second receiving score on the road against American International (Oct. 13)…Picked up his final rushing TD against Saint Anselm (Nov. 3)…Closed out the opening round NCAA win over West Chester with 72 rushing yards and a season-high 24 receiving yards.

2017: Named to the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll following the spring semester…Starting running back in all nine games he played in for the Blue and Gold…Racked up a career-high 657 rushing yards, leading the Chargers and ninth most in the NE10…Added 94 receiving yards on 13 catches while tallying five total touchdowns, four on the ground and one receiving score…Finished all nine games he played with no fewer than 33 rushing yards, compiling triple digits in two games, back-to-back…Set a career-high with 140 rushing yards against crosstown rival Southern Connecticut State University (Sep. 29) and followed that up with 103 yards against Stonehill (Oct. 14)…Added 12 receiving yards against the Owls for a career-high 152 all-purpose yards…Finished three yards shy of the century mark in the NE10 opener against LIU Post (Sep. 11), but added 44 receiving yards to finished with 141 total yards…Opened up the season with 50 yards on 17 carries and a pair of rushing touchdowns on the road against Shaw (Sep. 2)…also added one touchdown each against SCSU and Stonehill…His lone receiving score came against Pace on a two-yard reception…Set a career-high with six receptions amounting to his 44 receiving yards against LIU Post.

2016: Northeast-10 All-Conference Rookie Team…Logged 28 rushing attempts for 136 yards and one touchdown…Added two catches for 27 yards…Set a season-high with 72 yards on nine receptions against Pace (Sep. 24)…Also scored his first career touchdown against the Setters…Set a season-high with 14 catches against American International (Oct. 29), all totaling 44 yards.

High School: An All-Conference and All-County honoree on the football team at Bergen Catholic High School...Also ran track and field.
