2016: Started the first eight games of his career before groin injuries sidelined the freshman for the rest of his opening campaign at Mossy Creek.  Presley made 33 tackles on the defensive line with three tackles for loss.  His most impressive outing came against Lenoir-Rhyne (10/1) when the nose guard powered his way to 11 tackles.  He had a stop behind the line of scrimmage in four of the first five games he played.  He blocked a field foal against Mars Hill (9/24).  He had more than five tackles against Catawba (9/17) and Wingate (10/22).  

HIGH SCHOOL: Montel Presley is a defensive lineman from South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Fla. With the Raiders, Presley recorded 103 tackles, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, 23 tackles for loss, six sacks and six pass break-ups. He is a two-time All-State selection as a junior and senior and won the district title with South Sumter as a freshman, sophomore and junior. He played in the 2015 East & West Central Florida All-Star Game and the 2015 Florida Athletics Coaches Association North/South All-Star Classic.

PERSONAL: Presley is the son of Michael and Maxserlena Presley and will study Physical Therapy. His father, Copiah Lincoln, played football at the University of Mississippi, his cousin, Darrell Jackson, played for the Seattle Seahawks, his cousin, Ellis Johnson, played for the Indianapolis Colts, his cousin, Warren Sapp, is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and his cousin, Ian Williams, played for the San Francisco 49ers.
