Bio
2015: Started alll 12 games for Carson-Newman at tight end. Made two catches for 60 yards. He also returned two kickoffs for 12 yards. Janeway caught an 11 yard pass against Shorter and reeled in a 49-yarder against Newberry. He is the first tightend to catch multiple passes in the same season since 2011.
2014: Started the final three games of the season at tightend for Carson-Newman, appeared in every other game as a reserve tightend. Did not register any receptions, but helped Carson-Newman rush for 300+ yards in two of the three games he started.
2013: Redshirted
High School: A team captain and all-Big 8 conference first team linebacker for Stacey Carter at Science Hill High School. Was Science Hill's team MVP for linemen and linebackers. A two-time player of the week, who also played in the 2013 Tennessee-Kentucky Border Bowl. Also played in the 2013 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Bowl.
Personal: The son of Hal and Paige Janeway, is undecided on a major. His father played football for East Tennessee State. His uncle is former University of Tennessee and NFL quarterback Bobby Scott. His cousin Benson Scott also played football for the Vols.
