2022-23: Bridgewater had breakout performances in his red-shirt junior year.  He appeared in 24 games and started in five.  The Charlotte, N.C.-native averaged a career-best 5.8 points per game on 47.3 percent shooting from the field and 43.1 percent shooting from three.  He converted on 31-of-72 attempts from beyond the arc.  Bridgewater also chipped in 1.9 rebounds per game.  He led Carson-Newman in scoring twice, including a career-high outburst against Tennessee Wesleyan (Dec. 19).  The junior erupted for 30 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field. He was 8-of-12 from deep. The eight made threes are tied for the fifth-most in a game in program history.  Bridgewater led C-N in scoring for the second time in his career and also had seven boards to boot.  The eight threes are the most in a game since Malik Abraham drilled nine in-a-row at Anderson in 2019.   That contest was one of six double-digit scoring outputs for Bridgewater on the season.  He had a career-high seven boards to boot against the Bulldogs.  

2021-22: Bridgewater made his first career starts in his sophomore campaign.  Bridgewater first appeared in the starting lineup against Wingate (11/27) before making nine starts on the year.   He appeared in 19 games en route to averaging 3.1 points and 2.0 boards per game. Bridgewater made a noticeable inpact with his hustle, scooping up multiple offensive rebounds in all but one of his starts.  He had five offensive boards against Anderson (12/4).  Bridgewater set career highs for points - 11 - and rebounds - six - against Lenoir-Rhyne (12/1).  He reset his career high for points when he led C-N with 13 points at Lincoln Memorial (1/26).  He drilled a career-best three triples against the Railsplitters.  

2020-21: Bridgewater appeared in four games in his red-shirt sophomore season.  He scored three poins on the year, canning a triple against Limestone (2/1). He grabbed two boards against UVA Wise (2/10).

2019-20: Appeared in four games during his red-shirt freshman season. Bridgewater was 4-for-5 from the field and scored 13 points.  He set his season high with six against Warren Wilson (12/4).  He went 2-for-3 from long range that day.  

2018-19: Redshirted 

HIGH SCHOOL: Bridgewater joins Carson-Newman after suiting up for Eugene Farrar at East Gaston High School. He led the Warriors in scoring his senior year with 15.5 points per game.  He scored a season-high 29 points.  He was twice named all-conference and earned team MVP honors as a senior. 

PERSONAL: The son of Angela and Howard Beatty, he plans to study business at Carson-Newman.
