Bio

2018-19: Role' blossomed in his senior season to average a career-best 8.8 points per game and 4.5 rebounds per contest.  He appeared in all 29 games for the Eagles with 12 starts.  Role' made 61 percent of his shots.  He produced 11 double-digit scoring efforts and 12 games with at least five rebounds. He turned in the only two double-doubles of his career in back-to-back games against Mars Hill (2/6) and Coker (2/9).  He had 20 points and 10 rebounds against the Lions and 16 points and 11 boards against the Cobras.  He reset his career-high against Fort Valley State (12/8) with 21 against the Wildcats.

2017-18: Role' made eight starts and appeared in 26 games for the Eagles as a junior.  The junior post averaged four points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Role' had back-to-back double-digit scoring efforts against Coker (1/27) and Anderson (1/31) following an 11-point effort against the Cobras with a 10-point game against the Trojans.  From the Coker game to a contest against Lenoir-Rhyne (2/3) Role' made 12 consecutive shots.  If those shots had all come in one game, he would have tied the SAC single game record for consecutive field goals made without missing.  He nearly had a double-double in the SAC quarterfinals against Newberry (2/28) with an 11-point, eight-rebound effort.

2016-17: Role' appeared in 24 games for the Eagles with five stars in his sophomore season.  He averaged 3.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.  He shot 46 percent from the field. Role' turned in three double-digit scoring efforts. He tallied his first in his first career start at Mars Hill (12/31) with a 12-point effort in a career high 25 minutes.  He knocked down all five shots he took at Anderson (1/18).  Role' topped out at nine rebounds against Mars Hill as well.

2015-16: Redshirted

Prior to Carson-Newman (Montevallo): He served as a role player on the Falcons Sweet 16 team last year.  He played in 24 of the Falcons' contests and averaged 8.5 minutes per appearance. He finished the year with a 1.8 scoring average and 2.2 rebounds per game. He connected on 63 percent of his field goal attempts as a freshman.  Role' scored a career high 10 points in the Falcons' win over Carver Bible on a career best five-for-nine shooting.

High School: He attended Parkview High School where he was third team all-region honoree and a Gwinnett County All-Star. He led his region in rebounds.

Personal: Role'  is studying sociology.  He is the son of Chett and Wendy Role and has three brothers, Remington, Brett, and Chett.
