2018-19: Abraham became Carson-Newman's 28th career 1,000-point scorer earlier this year against Anderson.  He has 1,088 points for his career.  Abraham has been a three-point marksman throughout his career. His 259 career triples are tied for the second most in school history.  Abraham owns three of the top 12 single-season three-point marks at Mossy Creek.  He scored 32 points earlier this year against Anderson by going 9-for-11 from long range.  He made nine straight threes to close the game, the second most in NCAA history.

2017-18: Carson-Newman's third leading scoring for 2017-18, Abraham tallied 11.7 points per game. A three-point marksman, Abraham shot 41.5 percent from beyond the arc and made 88-of-212 threes.  The 88 triples go down as the second highest single-season total in school history.  Abraham also has the fourth highest mark with 83 made in his sophomore year.  Abraham shot 42.8 percent from the field in general and 58 percent from the foul line.  He also added in 2.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Abraham topped double figures 17 times and had a quartet of 20 point games.  Carson-Newman was unbeated when he scored at least 20 points and went 13-4 when he had at least 10.  Abraham had 15 games where he knocked down at least three three-pointers.  His top outing came against Lenoir-Rhyne (12/16). He scored 23 points against the Bears on 7-12 shooting, including a 6-of-10 ledger from long range.  

2016-17: Abraham established himself as an elite three-point shooter in his first season at Mossy Creek.  The sophomore knocked down 83 threes, the second most in a single season in school history.  Abraham averaged 13.8 points per game on 41 percent shooting from the field and 37 percent shooting from three. He also chipped in 2.5 rebounds per game and was third on the team for assists with 57.  Abraham put together 22 double-digit scoring efforts, including five straight to end the year.  He cracked the 20-point mark five times, including a career-high 28 against Newberry (1/21). He became the first Eagle in four years to knock down at least eight threes in that game.  Abraham came a rebound shy of a double-double against Tusculum (1/4), with 21 points and nine collected caroms.   Abraham knocked down four or more threes on eight occasions.  

PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Malik Abraham will have three seasons of eligibility left after transferring from Florida  State College at Jacksonville.  He was a first team all-conference guard for FSCJ as well as the league's co-rookie of the year.  He set a school record for threes made in a game with eight while setting the program's record for threes made in a single season with 97.  Abraham averaged 14.4 points while shooting 43 percent from the field and 41 percent from three for FSCJ. 

HIGH SCHOOL: In high school, he was a 1,000-point scorer while averaging 17.6 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.   He was a two-time offensive player of the year at Parkview while earning all-region and all-county honors for his final two seasons with the Panthers. 

PERSONAL: The son of Elliot and Rose Abraham, Malik plans to study finance at Carson-Newman.  He has three siblings.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - Carson-Newman (13-13, 6-12 SAC) can for all intents and purposes lock up the final spot in the South Atlantic Conference tournament when it resumes its rained out game with Mars Hill (9-16, 3-14 SAC) from Feb. 6. Mars Hill will be inbounding the ball with 13:04 to play in the second half, trailing the Eagles 56-44.
