Bio

2015-16:  Williams wraps up a junior campaign with his first ever postseason laurels form the league office - a second team All-SAC honor.  Williams, who became the 23rd member of the Eagles' 1,000-point club in the SAC quarterfinals against Wingate, will head into his senior season second on the active leaderboard in Division II in career field goal percentage.  He will rank sixth among active leaders next year among players in all divisions.  Williams made 61 percent of his shots in his junior campaign to finish seventh in the league.  He has shot 61 percent from the field throughout his career.  The Morehead State transfer was second on the team in scoring with 16.7 points per game. He also led the Eagles in rebounding with 7.0 boards per game.  Williams tallied his best game of the season against Lincoln Memorial in Harrogate when he dropped 37 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in defeat.  The junior had a pair of double-doubles on the season and had an octet of 20-point efforts.  Wiliams had 20 points and 10 boards against No. 20 Lenoir-Rhyne for his other double-double aside from the LMU game.  He came a rebound away from matching his career high with 13 boards at Anderson.  He hit double digits in 23 games and rides a career-long eight-game double-digit scoring streak into next season.  He grabbed at least five rebounds in all but five games on the year for the Eagles.  He led C-N in scoring eight times, rebounding on nine occasions, assists on three, steals on four and blocks on eight occasions in his junior campaign.  Williams handed out a career high five assists in the Eagles' meeting in Holt Fieldhouse with No. 7 Lincoln Memorial.

2014-15: Carson-Newman's third leading scorer and rebounder. He averaged 11.5 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while ranking second in the league in field goal percentage at 60 percent.  Williams scored double figures in 19 games and led C-N in scoring on five occasions. He grabbed five or more rebounds on 18 occasions, including a quartet of 10-rebound games. Williams had a trio of double-doubles, against Coker (1/17), Tusculum (1/21) and Coker (3/4).  Williams eclipsed 20 points twice, hitting for a season high 22 against Wingate (2/14) and Newberry (1/24).  Williams bested his career rebounding mark against Queens (2/21) when he hauled in 14 caroms, including 12 defensive rebounds. He also had a career best four steals against Queens that game. He led C-N in rebounds seven times, and blocks six.  He reset his career highs for field goals made and attempted against Wingate (2/14) hitting 10 of the 14 shots he took.

2013-14: C-N's fifth leading scorer in his freshman season and its third leading rebounder.  Averaged 7.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.  He became Carson-Newman's first freshman since Corbin Jackson to pull down a double-double; he did so with 27 points and 10 rebounds in a road win over Newberry (3/1).  Both totals would be career and season highs for Williams.  Williams led C-N and was second in the SAC in field goal percentage, sinking 62.6 percent of his shots.  His career highs for made field goals and attempts also came against Newberry.  He was 10-for-13 from the field.  Williams closed the season on a tear by scoring in double figures in seven of the Eagles last eight games.  He averaged 13.6 points during that stretch run.  Williams had seven games with at least five rebounds and nine games with double digits in points.  He made a career high seven of eight free throws against Newberry as well.

2012-13 (Morehead State): Redshirted his freshman season as a walkon for Morehead State.

High School: A two-sport athlete for Owens County High School, Williams was named his conference's player of the year his junior and senior seasons and the region's player of the year his senior year.  Following his senior season, he participated in the Kentucky v. Ohio All-Star Game.  He scored 1,186 points in his high school career, grabbed 740 rebounds and blocked 136 shots.  His senior year, Williams nearly averaged a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. As a football player, Williams was named his district's MVP.

Personal: He is the son of Rusty and Heidi Williams and has a brother Carson and a sister Kelsey.  Williams plans to study to become a veterinarian at C-N.
