2017 (Senior): Became the seventh catcher to earn a spot on an all-conference team for the Eagles and first since Wes Ward was a second-team pick in 2003…Led the team with 13 long balls and 58 RBIs while hitting .337…Had 14 multi-hit efforts and a team-high 16 multi-RBI outings… Led all players in the SAC Tournament field with 20 total bases going 13-for-25, .520, with two home runs and seven runs driven in and five runs scored…Notched two three-hit games and a four-hit afternoon in the final three contests of his career…Went 4-for-5 with a home run against third-seeded Newberry on April 30 and came back late Sunday night to go 3-for-5 with a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored against 15th-ranked and top-seeded Catawba.

2016 (Junior): Missed the final 18 games of the year at catcher after requiring surgery on his left thumb…Hit .226 with a pair of dingers and 11 RBIs…Picked up a win on the mound in 7-3 C-N win over #10 Belmont Abbey on March 15 in his first career appearance on the rubber tossing a scoreless sixth inning…Had three multi-hit and four multi-RBI games

2015 (Sophomore): In 30 games, Jones hit .205 with four home runs and 17 RBI...Had four multi-hit and six multi-RBI games...Went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI on February 10 against King (Tenn.)...Was a single short of the cycle on March 12 at Lee going 3-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored

2014 (Freshman): Started 14 games mostly as a designated hitting with 26 total games played…Notched three multi-hit (2 hit – 3) and three multi-RBI games (2 RBI – 1 3 RBI – 1 4 RBI - 1)…In his first career start went 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI (both hits with two outs) at GRU Augusta on February 1…Hit his first career HR, a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning v. Bluefield State on 3/18…The next day, Jones cleared the bases again with a pinch hit double against Bluefield State in the bottom of the sixth inning

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – The Carson-Newman baseball team concludes its fall work with its annual Blue and Orange World Series in a best-of-five intrasquad series led by assistant coaches Lee Haeberle (Blue) and Brandon Roberts (Orange).
