2016 (Senior): Appeared in 17 games with 11 starts going 6-4 with a 4.04 ERA and 79 strikeouts… Hurled his first complete game working nine innings in an 8-1 win over McKendree on Feb. 27 with seven strikeouts...Tossed a Division II high 11 innings while striking out a career-high 14 batters v. Catawba on April 15… Picked up a pair of wins at Tusculum during the final week of the regular season becoming the first pitcher to win two games in a SAC series since Daniel Sharp won twice on Feb. 7-8, 2014 against Brevard…Picked up his lone career save by working a scoreless ninth against Newberry on April 29 in the SAC Baseball Championships
2015 (Junior): Made 12 appearances with one start in his first year in Mossy Creek going 2-0 with a 5.23 ERA in 20.2 innings...In his C-N debut on February 13 against Brevard, Batson hurled three scoreless innings...Picked up his first win on March 18 against Cedarville tossing two flawless innings with two strikeouts...In his lone start on April 7 at UVA-Wise, he tossed 5.2 innings notching a career-high seven strikeouts in earning the victory
