Walker Kickoff Classic (indoor) with a 23.79 second time in the 200 meter and at the South Atlantic Conference Championships (outdoor) with a 51.84 second time in the 400 meter… Reeled in two top-10 finishes…
High School: Attended Sevier County High School where he was coached by Eddie McCandless and John Hutchins... An All-IMAC runner his senior year, McCarter was a 4X800m champion, a two-time 4X400m champion and placed third in the 400m race his senior season... Qualified for state his senior seaosn in the 4X400m...
