2012: Jonathan finished in the top 30 at Carson-Newman's Panther Creek State Part meet. The Eagle came in at a time of 31:41.

HIGH SCHOOL: Chastain was titled Runner of the Week. He lettered in cross-country and track. Chastain's cross country team was the 2010 Regional and State Champions and was 2011 State Participants.
Personal: Chastain won a number of academic awards in high school. He was the Outstanding Peer Tutor member of the year and received the HAWK award (Highest honor given to graduating seniors). He is the son of Bill and Amy Chastain, both C-N alums. He is majoring in Special Education.
