2023: Indoor - Kemp placed third in the high jump at the JDL College Team Challenge with a 1.89-meter mark. He grabbed gold in the event at the Sewanee Indoor Invitational with a 1.90-meter performance. At the 2023 SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, Kemp placed seventh (1.97 m).
Outdoor - At the Trojan Opener, Kemp grabbed a personal best mark in the high jump in 2.00 meters. He placed third in the event. He grabbed second in the event at the Montreat College Open with 1.94 meters. At the LR Bears Open, Kemp grabbed a personal record in the men's long jump with a 6.02-meter leap and 13th-place finish. He placed fifth in the high jump (1.96 m) at the 2023 SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
