Bio

2023: Indoor - Henry grabbed a new personal best in the mile at the VMI Invitational to finish sixth in 4:32.00. He grabbed first in the DMR at the meet in 10:27.92. At the JDL College Team Challenge, Henry placed sixth in the 800 with a new personal record time of 1:58.30, and he placed third in the DMR in 10:27.23 at the SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. 

Outdoor - Earned a new personal record in the javelin throw at the LR Bears Open to place eighth with a 40.56-meter mark. 

2022: Indoor - Placed second in the distance medley relay in 10:46.71 at the 2022 Buccaneer Indoor Track and Field Invitational. Finished eighth in the event at the SAC Indoor Track and Field Championships in 10:53.00.

Outdoor - Ninth in the 800 in 2:03.27 at the Montreat College Invitational. Henry grabbed a new personal best in the 1500 at the Electric City Invitational in 4:06.82 to finish 20th. 

2021: Indoor - Competed in the 400 meter and 800 meter runs during the indoor track & field season. Finished sixth in the 400 meter run at the Run As Fast As You Can Meet with a personal best time of 54.99 seconds. Season-high 20th place finish in the 800 meter run at the Buccaneer Invitational with a personal best time of 2:08.68.

Outdoor - Competed in the 1500 meter and 800 meter runs and the javelin during the 2021 outdoor season. Set a personal best in the 800 meter run at the 2021 SAC Outdoor Championships with a time of 2:01.68. Season-high ninth place finish in the 800 meter at the LR Bears Open with a time of 2:03.41. Finished 15th in the 1500 meter run with a time of 4:19.06 and seventh in the javelin throw with a toss of 34.50 meters at the Montreat Final.

HIGH SCHOOL: Henry was All-Conference in 2018 and 2019. Was named All-Region and All-State in 2019. Was also a member of the cross country, basketball, baseball and track and field teams.

PERSONAL: Son of Amanda Henry. Intends to major in Exercise Science and Sports Management. Will also compete on the Eagles cross country team.
