PRIOR TO CARSON-NEWMAN: Spent the year at Chowan, where he redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Malloy generated 40 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and five sacks as a senior in high school. He also placed fourth in the state in the shot put while competing with Eastside's track and field team.
PERSONAL: The son of Ron Malloy and Annette Wilson, he plans to study biology at Carson-Newman.
