2017-2018: Showler-Davis did not compete in the 2016-17 season due to recovering from an injury, but returned last year to earn All-America honors in both the 60m dash (second-team, indoor) and the 100m dash (first-team, outdoor). The England native also competed for his home country over the summer during the Manchester Invitational as well as participating in the British and European National Trials. USTFCCA All-Academic... 2015-16: Limited to only one meet due to injuries during his debut season in Mossy Creek…Showler-Davis competed in the men’s 200 meter run at the South Atlantic Conference Championships and recorded a fourth-place overall finish of 21.62 seconds after winning the preliminary race the day before…
Before C-N: Showler-Davis came to Carson-Newman by way of Florida State and posted the 10th-fastest preliminary time in the 200 meter run at the ACC Championships in 2014… Ran a season-best time of 21.86 in the event at the SPIRE Invitational…Prior to becoming a Seminole, Showler-Davis established himself as of the top-juniors in Great Britain by winning the 2010 junior national title in the 200 meter run with a career-best 20.75 second time…Also ran a career-best 10.52 second time in the 100 meter run during the same year…Represented Great Britain in the 2010 World Junior Games in the 200 meters… Was also a member of the silver medal 4X100 relay team at the 2010 European Junior Championships…Showler-Davis also competes in the long jump and owns a best mark of 7.30 meters…

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – Day one of the two-day 2019 East Tennessee State University Invitational commenced on Friday evening in Carson-Newman’s first meet of the New Year as Jahvad McDermott and Devon Moore brought on standout performances. Today was the first competition for the Eagles since the indoor season began on Dec. 1-2 in Salem, Va. at Roanoke College.
Following its appearance 365 days ago, the Eagles broke six school records over the two-day meet. Notably, five of the six program high times include athletes who will return to the team. Currently, 22 of the program’s records are held by athletes on this year’s team.
