Bio
2017-18: Talley, who returned to the high jump after having surgery on a torn ACL exactly 365 days prior, collected points in the event for C-N after a seventh-place finish with a jump of 1.70 meters.
2017 (Football): Did not appear in any games, medically redshirted.
2016 (Football): Appeared in seven games as a reserve defensive back as a freshman. Talley made 22 tackles and picked off a pass against Newberry (10/15). Talley registered a career high eight tackles against Wingate (10/22), he also blocked a kick against the Bulldogs.
HIGH SCHOOL: Zach Talley is a safety from Byrnes High School in Duncan, S.C. With the Rebels, Talley registered 84 tackles, four interceptions 2.5 tackles for loss and four pass break-ups as a junior. He was a 4A All-Region selection in 2014 and a second-team defense honoree in 2015. He was coached by Brian Lane.
PERSONAL: Talley is the son of Tia and El Talley and will study Pre-Engineering. He is related to former NFL running back Gary Russell.
