2014 (cross country): Guerra was one of the most established Carson-Newman runners in his second year in Mossy Creek. The sophomore finshed with three top-ten times, as well as two top-five qualifers. Guerra had his best outings of the season at the Blue & Orange Meet and the Victor Ashe Meet recording second place in both.

High School: Guerra is a three-time all-district and 2012 all-state cross country runner for Bishop Lynch High School. In addition to running cross country and track, he also played soccer for two years, and was a semi-finalist for his 2012 season. He has lettered in Cross Country, Track, and Soccer. Guerra owns personal bests of 4:52 in the 1600 meters, 10:30 in the 3200 meters, and 16:52 in the 5k.

PERSONAL: Born October 11, 1994, he is the son of David and Nancy Guerra of Richardson, Texas, and one of three children with siblings Danny and Adam. He is enrolled in C-N's foods, nutrition and dietetics program.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn— The Carson-Newman indoor track and field team wrapped up day two of events at the second-annual Buccaneer Invitational Saturday with five top-five finishes and another provisional qualification with Randall freeman (Chattanooga, Tenn.) in the men’s heptathlon.
