Eagles, Lady Eagles Head To Hickory To Face L-R

HICKORY, N.C. - The Carson-Newman Eagles take to the road this evening to face Lenoir-Rhyne in South Atlantic Conference doubleheader action.
The Lady Eagles (11-10, 5-4 SAC) will face L-R at 6:00 p.m. C-N is going for the series sweep against L-R in the regular season, having won the first meeting on January 16, 77-66.
Dale Clayton's Eagles will try to avenge a 106-97 home loss from January. The men's matchup features two regionally-ranked teams.
Carson-Newman, ranked #6 in the region, enters tonight's matchup at 16-4 overall and 7-2 in SAC play. L-R, the region's #3 team, is 17-3 overall and 9-0 in the SAC.
