Times set for NCAA Volleyball Tournament
Times have been set for the Southeast Regional NCAA Volleyball Tournament. Carson-Newman will face Lincoln Memorial in the quarterfinal round on Friday November 21 at 2:30 p.m. in Cuddy Arena on the Wingate University Campus.
This will be the fourth time Carson-Newman and Lincoln Memorial face each other this season. During regular season play Carson-Newman defeated Lincoln Memorial in each meeting with scores of 3-0 and 3-0. The Railsplitters found revenge in the conference tournament semi-finals defeating the Eagles in a thrilling 5 set match. Carson-Newman took the 2nd and 3rd set before making nine unforced errors in the 5th set, including a missed serve on match point,losing with a score of 15-11. The nine unforced errors and almost errorless play by Lincoln Memorial in the 5th set kept Carson-Newman from making back-to-back appearances in the SAC tournament finals.
All matches will take place in Cuddy Arena on Wingate University Campus.Tickets may be purchased at the gate for each session.
