During her four seasons at Mossy Creek, Moore and the Lady Eagles made four NCAA Tournament appearances, winning both the SAC regular season and SAC Tournament titles twice.

The Lady Eagles finished the season with a 16-5-1 record, winning the SAC regular season title and SAC Tournament. Carson-Newman finished the season ranked-13th nationally.

Quote from head coach Phil McNamara -

"I am extremely thrilled for Brittany to be receiving this prestigious award. She has been an excellent player for our program and obviously a dedicated student athlete. She has demonstrated a high and equal commitment of excellence both on the field of play but more importantly in the classroom. Our program was blessed with three highly qualified nominations this season, Megan Julian and Shea Kinzer the other two players being considered. I thought Brittany would prove our strongest candidate, mainly due to her six game winning goals on the season. This award becomes the pinnical of an excellent college career. It has been a joy to witness Brittany develop as a player the last four years and what a player! Brittany is our second recipiant of this award the last three years, which simply demonstrates the quality of the student ahtletes in our program. I want to finish by thanking our academic staff for pushing Brittany the past four years to become and Academic All-American."
