Morris Earns SAC ROTW for Third Time This Season

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior Aubrey Morris (Chattanooga, Tenn.) has been named the Runner of the Week in the South Atlantic Conference after competing at the Citadel Invitational in Charleston, S.C.

Morris won the Citadel Invitational with a time of 18:25 (5k), leading the Lady Eagles to a 7th place team finish. The win was the 3rd of the season for Morris. She has taken first place in 10 races throughout her career at Carson-Newman.

The Eagles are back in competition Saturday, October 4, in Belmont, N.C. for the Belmont Abbey Invitational.

The SAC runner of the week is determined by a vote of the sports information directors of the league.
