Nancy Branim returns to her alma mater for a second coaching stint and third year overall at Mossy Creek.

Branim is in her second season at C-N this time around. She was a part of last season's (2011) squad that went 41-17-1 and reached the regional final.She was also an assistant for the 2007 team that went 35-16 and reached the NCAA Tournament.

Branim, who was an All-South Atlantic Conference and All-Region performer for the Lady Eagles during her senior season in 1998.

Branim, a 1998 graduate of C-N, spent last season as an assistant softball coach at St. Lucie West Centennial High School in Port St. Lucie, Fla., where she helped lead the team to its first district championship in 10 years.

In high school, Branim had a stellar career at Scott High School in Huntsville, Tenn., where she earned All-District and All-District Tournament accolades all four years.
