Multimedia Information For Tonight's Basketball Doubleheader At Maryville

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman men's and women's basketball teams will take the short trip to Maryville Wednesday evening to take on the Scots of Maryville College.

The women's game will be at 6:00 p.m., while the men will conclude the night with an 8:00 p.m. contest.

Carson-Newman's women come into today with a 6-0 record including two wins over strong Southeast Region programs this past weekend in the Jack Hughston Classic at Columbus, Ga.  Senior Shari Buford was named the Women's Division II Bulletin National Player of the Month for November while junior Mandy Mendenhall is the reigning South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week.

The Eagle men are 4-2 on the season after splitting a pair of tough region games over the Thanksgiving holiday in the Inaugural Dick Campbell Memorial Classic.  Junior J.J. Wesley was selected as the SAC Player of the Week for his efforts in C-N's 2-1 week in the friendly confines of Holt Fieldhouse.
