High School: Named an All-District player for White House head coach Pat Brown.
Personal: Son of Theodore and Tengela Malone. Hails from an athletic family. Father played football at Tennessee Tech, cousin Douglas Belk was a star football player for Carson-Newman and his cousin Whitney Long plays soccer for the University of the Cumberlands. Cousins Tony and David Mills played basketball for Carson-Newman and uncle Hollis Langston played basketball for Wofford.
