Travis Stueve enters his second year as an assistant athletic
trainer at Carson-Newman.
Stueve’s responsibilities include working with the football,
track and field, men’s golf and women’s golf teams at
C-N.
Prior to coming to C-N, Stueve spent two years as an assistant
athletic trainer at Central Arizona College and was an intern
athletic trainer for the Peoria Padres, the rookie ball minor
league affiliate of the San Diego Padres for one year. He was also
an intern for the San Diego Padres in 2006.
Stueve received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Athletic Training
from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Calif., in 2007.
He earned a Master of Science in Athletic Training from A.T. Still
University in Mesa, Ariz., in 2009.
Stueve is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association
and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is a
Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist and is CPR/AED Professional Rescuer and First Aid
certified by the American Red Cross.
Stueve is married to the former Melissa Schneider, who is also an
athletic trainer at C-N.
