Bio
Holly Cantwell Clark is in her second season with Carson-Newman
as coach of the first women's golf program in school history.
In 2008-09, Clark guide the Lady Eagles to six top three finishes,
including a first place finish at the South Atlantic Conference
Championships. C-N's Sarah Jane Sinard also claimed medalist honors
in the SAC Championships and had six top 10 finishes.
Clark joins the C-N staff after four years as a standout at the
University of Tennessee.
While at UT, Clark led the Lady Vols to the 2006 NCAA East
Regional title. The Morristown, Tenn., native turned in one of her
top individual finishes at the 2006 Southeastern Conference
Championships, where she placed 12th. Clark also finished eighth at
the Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate Championships in 2004.
Clark was also a success off the golf course at UT. She was named
to the SEC Good Works Team and earned Academic All-SEC honors.
Clark earned National Golf Coaches Association Academic All-America
honors as a senior.
In high school, Clark was a standout at nearby Morristown West
High School, where she led the Lady Trojans to a state title in
2003 and captured state medalist honors. She was named East
Tennessee High School Player of the Year as a senior.
Clark resides in Knoxville, Tenn.
