Eagles Ranked 18th in Latest NSCAA Poll
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Carson-Newman men's soccer team is ranked No. 18 the latest Division II National Soccer Coaches' Association of America poll, NSCAA officials announced Tuesday.
The Eagles (8-2-1) are also ranked second in the Southeast Region. C-N is on a five-match winning streak.
Colorado Mines holds on to the top spot in the national poll, followed by Midwestern State (Texas), Franklin Pierce (N.H.), Mercyhurst (Pa.) and Northern Kentucky.
Mars Hill, the only other South Atlantic Conference team in the poll, fell to No. 25. The Lions are also fourth in the Southeast Region.
Clayton State (Ga.), the 10th-ranked team in the country, is No. 1 in the Southeast Region.
Other SAC teams listed in the regional rankings are Wingate (seventh), Anderson (ninth) and Lincoln Memorial (ninth).
