Jeff Clark joins the Carson-Newman staff after spending the last three seasons as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Morristown East High School.
While at Morristown East, Clark helped the Hurricanes make one of the biggest defensive turnarounds in school history and record a defensive shutout in the 2011 playoffs.
Prior to his stint at Morristown East, Clark was the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for Parkway West High School in St. Louis, Mo. where he coached current Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert. While an assistant coach with Kirkwood High School, Clark coached future Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.
Clark was a standout outside linebacker and defensive end for St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa from 1992-1994.
Clark and his wife, Sonya, have one son; Austin.
