Cory Kollister begins his second year with Carson-Newman this spring and his sixth year of coaching football. He coaches Defensive Ends and assists Coach Redding with the defensive line.

Prior to arriving in Mossy Creek, Kollister was the Defensive Coordinator at Plant City HS in Florida. He led a defense that held opponents under 11 points per game and recorded 3 shutouts. This helped the Raiders make the playoffs with a 7-3 record, its best record in a decade.

Kollister, who earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University in 2000, is married to Jennifer and they are the parents of two children - Triston and Ashlyn. They reside in Knoxville.
