Carson-Newman Letter Club to Meet in Knoxville Area on Thursday Night

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Carson-Newman Letter Club will meet Thursday night (Aug. 26) at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church at 6:45 p.m. to kickoff the 2010 athletic year.

Carson-Newman president Dr. Randall O'Brien and his wife Kay will be in attendance, along with several Carson-Newman Athletic Hall of Famers and former All-Americans. Light refreshments will be served

Carson-Newman hosts Winona State (Minn.) on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at Burke-Tarr Stadium The game will be televised regionally on CSS.
