Kickoff Time Set for Eagles' Quarterfinal at UNA
FLORENCE, Ala. – The kickoff for Saturday’s national
quarterfinal between Carson-Newman and the University of North
Alabama has been set for 1 p.m. Eastern time (Noon Central),
officials announced today.
The Eagles and Lions square off at Braly Municipal Stadium in
Florence, Ala with a berth in the national semifinals on the line.
The game will be webcast (video) by the NCAA at www.ncaasports.com
and will be broadcast locally on WRJZ-AM 620 (Knoxville).
C-N dumped West Alabama, 59-41, on Saturday, while North Alabama
beat Arkansas Tech, 41-28, to set up this week’s matchup.
The C-N/North Alabama winner will face the winner of
Minnesota-Duluth and Grand Valley State in the national semifinals
on Saturday Dec. 5.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are $10 for general admission
and $5 for students with I.D. Tickets can be purchased the stadium.
