JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Carson-Newman Eagles take to the road for the first time in the 2007-'08 regular season tonight, to face The University of Alabama-Huntsville (UAH) Chargers.
Carson-Newman (1-0) enters the game on the strength of a 105-92 win over North Georgia last Tuesday night in Holt Fieldhouse.

The win marked the fifth time in the Eagles' last six games, dating back to last season, that Carson-Newman broke the 100-point mark. A 99-88 win at Mars Hill was the only time the Eagles failed to reach the mark.
UAH (2-1) hosts the Eagles in its home-opener tonight at Spraggins Hall in Huntsville. The Chargers enter the contest trying to rebound from a 79-51 loss at Christian Brothers last Tuesday.
