Griffin To Be Inducted Into Tennessee Wesleyan Hall of Fame

Head Baseball Coach Tom Griffin will be inducted into the Tennesse Wesleyan College Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 6th.  Griffin is a 1989 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College, where he was a three-time All-Conference selection and earned All-District his senior year.  Griffin, a four-year starting catcher, was named Most Valuable Player following his Junior and Senior year.

The induction ceremony will take place on the campus of Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, TN at 6:00 at an awards banquet.

Griffin has 23 years of college coaching experience, 13 with Carson-Newman.  Griffin won his 400th game this past spring on April 19, against Catawba College.  For his career, Griffin has 403 total wins, including 220 wins as the Head Baseball Coach at Carson-Newman.
