Griffin Speaking at American Baseball Coaches Association Convention
Eagle baseball coach Tom Griffin will be speaking at the American Baseball Coaches Association Convention in Anaheim, California January 5-8.
Eagle baseball coach Tom Griffin will be speaking on "Catching Drills" on January 7th, at the convention center in Anaheim, California. The American Baseball Coaches Association has over 4,000 members of coaches from the professional ranks, college, high school and summer leagues. This will be the second time Coach Griffin has spoken at the convention. He spoke in 2007 in Orlando, Florida. "This is a great honor to speak in front of your peers. I appreciate Coach Corbin (Head Baseball Coach at Vanderbilt University), asking me to be a part on this year's speakers."
Coach Griffin will also be speaking at the Pennsylvania Baseball Coaches Association in Pittsburgh on January 13th, and the Tennessee High School Baseball Coaches Association on January 28th.
Griffin has spoken at many clinics and camps all over the United States, including coaches clinics in Ohio, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and South Carolina. He has also just produced the second edition of a catching instructional video titled "Catch it, Block it, Throw it".
The Carson Newman Eagles will open up the 2012 baseball season on February 3rd at Augusta State University.
