Carson-Newman Women’s And Men’s Cross Country Finish 14th and 19th, Respectively At The 2009 NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championship
WINGATE, N.C. – The Carson-Newman College Men’s And Women’s Cross Country Teams completed their 2009 seasons with top 20 finishes in the 2009 NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championship held Saturday morning at Wingate University. The Lady Eagles finished 14th while the C-N men came in 19th place.

Freshman Earhart Brings Strong Finish for Lady Eagles
BOONE, N.C. - Freshman Brooke Earhart (Dixon, Tenn.) ran a 20:15 race this evening, leading the Lady Eagles in the Mountaineer Open, hosted by Appalachian State. The Lady Eagles finished 8th, 4th among non-Division I schools. Jonathan Madden (Franklin, Tenn.) led the men's team, with a 22:59 finish.
