Melissa Schneider Stueve is entering her second year as an associate athletic trainer at Carson-Newman.

Schneider earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from A.T. Still University in Mesa, Ariz.

For the last two years, she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Arizona State University. Schneider has also gained experience as a medical volunteer for the Glendale AVP Sand Volleyball Tournament, Pat Tillman Run and Phoenix Ford Ironman Triathlon.

In addition, Schneider is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Schneider is married to Travis Stueve, who is also an athletic trainer at C-N.
